Informed Sport Renews Sponsorship for The International Testing Agency’s Clean Sport Webinar Series

ITA Webinar Series - Informed Sport

After reaching thousands in the sporting community in 2021, Informed Sport has renewed its partnership with the International Testing Agency (ITA) in support of their monthly clean sport webinar series for 2022. The series will feature a mix of elite athletes and anti-doping experts discussing clean sport and providing audiences with effective tools and key information.

"This is the second year we have partnered with the ITA, and Informed Sport is very pleased to be sponsoring the webinar series once again," said Terence O'Rorke, INFORMED Business Development Manager, EMEA APAC.

“Informed Sport provides the highest levels of protection for athletes who wish to use sports nutrition and sports supplements, and it is extremely important that athletes receive the right guidance on the safe use of supplements. Partnering with the ITA helps our mutual efforts of educating athletes and their support personnel.”

Informed Sport and the ITA share a common mission of delivering high-quality anti-doping education and reducing access barriers to this information. With the public webinar series, athletes and sports professionals will have access to transparent, engaging and challenging discussions about clean sport that provides easy access to important anti-doping information.

“The ITA webinar series demystifies anti-doping and the interactive nature allows attendees to engage with expert presenters who cover a variety of topics and themes”, says Marc Mundell, a three-time Olympian in the sport of athletics. “I shared my Olympic journey during the ITA webinar pilot series in 2020, prior to joining the ITA team as an ambassador. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story and I look forward to delivering more educational events this year. Whilst the pandemic continues to cause havoc in the sporting community, it is important to stay healthy, stay connected and advocate for clean sport.”
