Informed Sport Featured by Nutritional Outlook![]()
INFORMED's Terence O’Rorke spoke with Nutritional Outlook about the importance of banned substance testing for sports supplements. "Doping happens all the time across the world, absolutely. It’s still one of the bigger challenges for the anti-doping community and for sport itself. Most brands these days want to be reputable, and where cases of contamination occur, they’re usually accidental." Inadvertent contamination is still of great concern to supplement manufacturers around the globe. Informed Sport certification helps minimise that risk by testing every batch of every product before being sold. |
How Does Informed Protein Benefit Informed Sport Certified Brands?![]()
Did you know Informed Sport certified brands get a special discount for adding Informed Protein certification? More consumers than ever are using protein supplements to enhance their athletic performance, improve physical fitness, and better their overall health. The global protein supplements market is worth over $22 billion, with expectations to nearly double by 2030. With the increased use of protein supplements comes a greater need for transparency for consumers. Informed Protein provides assurance to consumers and brands that the protein label claim matches what is actually in the product. This not only helps to build trust between you and your customers but also lets protein brands know the ingredients they are paying for are of high quality. Due to ongoing supply chain issues, many brands are having issues with new suppliers. Based on a recent protein supplements survey performed by the Informed Protein team, 25% of products did not meet label claim. Watch our webinar where INFORMED's Business Development Director Paul Klinger and Informed Protein's Laura Kihlman delve into the importance of protein verification, the results of our protein supplements survey, and how Informed Protein certification can benefit you and your customers. |
