INFORMED May Event World Tour Kicks Off Summer Strong

INFORMED May Event World Tour Kicks Off Summer Strong

THREE SHOWS. TWO CONTINENTS. ONE JAM-PACKED MONTH!

INFORMED kicked off the summer event circuit in style, with a string of industry shows throughout the month of May, and a few extra appearances sprinkled throughout.

Vitafoods Europe 2025, the ASPDA 17th Annual Conference, and the 2025 CSCCa National Conference acted as the main events for the month, where six members of the INFORMED team were able to join a combined 27,000 attendees, 1,650 exhibitors, and meet with more than 30 INFORMED certified brands.

Before hitting the road for our packed month of events, we were excited to start the month off strong by welcoming the team from UK Anti-Doping to LGC's laboratory in Fordham, where we were able to show them our facilities and discuss all things supplements.

"UKAD are a hugely important stakeholder for the Informed Sport programme," Senior Business Development Manager Terence O'Rorke said. "We were delighted to welcome members of their science, operations, and education departments to share our expertise on how best to protect athletes from inadvertent doping."

The official event schedule began the week of May 5-7 in Indianapolis, IN for the 2025 CSCCa National Conference. More than 1,600 strength and conditioning coaches were able to hear about the importance of third-party supplement testing, not only from the INFORMED team, but also from the dozen certified brands that were also in attendance.

In addition to exhibiting at CSCCa, we were also honored to be able to co-sponsor the Master Strength & Conditioning Coach (MSCC) Social with our friends from Science In Sport.

"Science in Sport did an amazing job in co-sponsoring the Master Coaches reception with us," Business Development Manager Rob Graf said. "Both CSCCa and ASPDA were a huge success. These shows continue to be important events for us to support our partners and strengthen our position with key stakeholders in the world of U.S. collegiate and professional sports."

The following week took the team to the opposite side of the country, for the ASPDA 17th Annual National Conference in Scottsdale, AZ from May 13-16. Having recently attended the Professional Football Registered Dietitian Society (PFRDS) NFL Health Summit in April (a subgroup of the ASPDA), this gave the team a chance to continue conversations with members from earlier in the year, as well as continue to grow the INFORMED brand in the United States.

"ASPDA was a great opportunity to connect with Sports Nutritionists and Dieticians from collegiate and professional teams, as well as the US military," Key Account Manager Courtney Dodd said. "It was a great chance to talk about the importance of supplement safety and how our certifications help provide the reassurance athletes and service members need to perform and excel in their career, with the peace of mind knowing that their supplements have been third-party tested for banned substances."

The final stop of the "May Event World Tour" brought the brand to the opposite side of the globe, as three UK-based team members were able to walk the floor at one of the industry-leading exhibitions, Vitafoods Europe. After 26 years in Geneva, May 20-22 marked the beginning of Vitafoods Europe's new hometown in Barcelona.

With more than 25,000 attendees, 1,400 exhibitors, and 160 countries being represented, Vitafoods Europe continues to be one of the largest industry events INFORMED attends, with 2025 marking 15 years of perfect attendance.

"It’s always great to catch up and discuss how we can continue to support the industry with trusted certification and testing solutions," Samantha Kay, Head of Product Management, said. "A big thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us, and looking forward to what’s ahead."

As May officially comes to a close, so does the busiest portion of event season for INFORMED, but by no means does it mark the end of the summer calendar. June 22-23 will act as a week of "double trouble" for INFORMED, with two different shows on opposite sides of the globe. Our UK-based team will be attending the Sports & Active Nutrition Summit in Austria, while our US-based team will be exhibiting at the ISSN 22nd Annual Conference and Expo in Florida.
