Informed Sport Celebrates Charter Sponsorship with CPSDA

LGC has announced they have become Charter Sponsors of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA). With this partnership, LGC’s banned substance testing program, Informed Sport will reach and educate dietitians on the importance of nutritional supplement testing and the risks athletes face.  This marks the first time the organisations have partnered together.

Informed Sport will share educational materials about their programme and testing methods with the CPSDA’s 1,293 members throughout the coming year.  They also attended the CPSDA’s annual conference earlier this summer in Grapevine, Texas.

Established in 2008, the Informed Sport programme has products tested and certified available in over 60 countries around the world. LGC certifies over 3,000 unique products and tests over 20,000 samples a year, with that number continuing to grow. Products that carry the Informed Sport logo have been rigorously tested for banned substances by the world-leading anti-doping laboratory LGC, using ISO 17025 accredited methods. In addition, the product’s manufacturing process must meet strict standards of quality control through rigorous manufacturing audits.
